| Notes | These lectures, given especially in New York City, are also described in the Fremdenverkehr. According to the president of the New York Academy of Sciences, Prof. Charles Finney Cox, these lectures were well-attended by no less than 2,100 people (Zacharasiewicz 2021, 62). Leibinger underpinned his lectures with 250 printed and painted slides in order to entice Americans into visiting Austria instead of Switzerland or Italy (ibid.). |
