| Notes | This declaration clarified AVOES' principles of their work in exile. Their focus was not on a fight against Hitler, but rather on the support of a revolution after Hitler. They also clearly stated not to want to collaborate with other Austrian exile groups, effectively preventing the formation of representative exile governments. Due to the restrictive nature of this declaration, Buttinger and many others chose to step back from the organisation. |
