Notes | He trained most of the nineteen employed Austrian press photographers in modern Life-reportage. According to him, the US propaganda objectives were: 1) to tell the truth in pictures, 2) be subtle, 3) present a fundamental idea, 4) carry on American journalistic progressiveness (see Petschaer 264). In 1964 he became the official White House photographer for President Lyndon B. Johnson. |
