Notes | Pius Michael Prutscher, born in April 1913, was registered as a student of law at the University of Vienna from 1931 onwards. He was a resident of Vienna, son of an architect named Hans Prutscher, Windmühlgasse 14, Wien VI. He had apparently earlier attended the Realgymnasium in Mödling. In tune with the characterization of his political affiliation (far right), Prutscher gave in his “Nationale,” the official documentation for his registration and enrollment in certain courses, his nationality as “German,” rather than Austrian, as a significant number of students did. (see Zacharasiewicz, Transatlantic Networks, p. 154). |
