Notes | During these tribunals after the beginning of the Second World War the UK government tested the loyalty of foreigners, dividing them into three groups where A constituted dangerous immigrants who immediately had to be put in detention, B were okay but still had more restrictions than C who were not deemed dangerous. From 73.800 interrogated immigrants, ca. 64.200 were allocated to group C and to 55.460 "refugee from Nazi oppression" was added. |
