| Notes | This US magazine (today known as: World Literature Today) contributed greatly to the reception and critical recognition of then-contemporary international literature. In the post-war years after the second world war they gave considerable space to Austrian writers in the course of the "Transplanted Writers-debates" and the "Austrian Literature-question" and constituted a valuable bridge between the American readership and University critics. |
